The signature Gucci bamboo handle is handcrafted using a traditional process that requires exceptional skill and patience. Individual pieces of natural bamboo are carefully selected, heated over an open flame until they become flexible, and then bent by hand into their distinctive curved shape. Once formed, each handle is left to cool and harden, preserving its elegant silhouette. The bamboo is then polished and fitted by hand to the bag's hardware. Because every piece of bamboo has its own natural grain and coloration, no two handles are exactly alike.
